The easiest way is to grease the tin then sprinkle flour all over the grease , and getting rid of the surplus flour. I find my sponges and cakes never stick this way and are so easy to be released from the tin.

I grease my loaf tin, but never put flour on it,
I will try it next time, the last couple of times
my bread has stuck to the tin, if for no other
reason, it will show if I missed with the grease.

I bake only bread and use non- stick tins, but otherwise I rub olive oil round the tin.
